The festival grounds were adorned with installations by Filipino graffiti artist Distort Monsters, designer One/Zero, and artists Yok Joaquin, Jethro Olba, Jill Arteche, and Ross Du. The vibrant and creative displays added to the overall ambiance of the event, setting the stage for a weekend of musical performances.
One of the highlights of the festival was the performance by South Korean duo 92914, who graced the stage for the first time in the Philippines as the sun was setting. Their music captivated the audience and set the tone for the rest of the festival.
Another standout act was American indie pop artist Dayglow, who also performed in the Philippines for the first time. Expressing his excitement, Dayglow shared, “So stoked to finally be here. And I remember so early on, one of the first countries that was ever like, you know, ‘come to blank,’ was ‘come to the Philippines.’ So someone out there was my first Filipino fan, so thank you.” His energetic performance electrified the crowd and left a lasting impression on all who were present.
Day 1’s headliner, Daniel Caesar, expressed his joy at returning to the Philippines and encouraged the audience to join in the celebration. “It’s been a long week for me, so I need you guys to be really loud. I need you guys to turn it up,” he said. The Canadian artist delivered a soulful performance, mesmerizing the crowd with hits like “Entropy,” “Ocho Rios,” “Best Part,” “Get You,” and “Always.”
On Day 2, the electric duo Honne made a triumphant return to the Philippines, delighting fans with their popular songs “Day 1,” “Location Unknown,” “Crying Over You,” and “Warm on a Cold Night.” Andy from Honne expressed their love for the Philippines, saying, “We love it here. That’s why we keep coming back. We feel very privileged to stand on the Karpos stage once and this Wanderland’s main stage twice. It really means the world to us. We love you.”
